What is underwriting criteria?

The purpose of our underwriting criteria is to assess the level of risk in insuring you and your farm. This process is very important so that both you and us are clear on what you’re covered for.

Do I need to wait for my current insurance to expire before I switch over to you?

No not at all! You can get a quote with us and switch at any time. You’ll just need to advise your current insurance company that you have found insurance elsewhere and wish to cancel your policy with them.

Do you work with brokers?

At this stage, Farmstyle Insurance has no broking agreements in place and is a direct-to-consumer insurance product only.

Can my broker get a quote to compare to my current insurance?

At this stage, Farmstyle Insurance is direct-to-consumer only, so we’re unable to deal with brokers. If you’d like a quote from us to compare, you can jump onto our website directly and click on the “get a quote” button. Unfortunately, your broker is unable to do this on your behalf.

Can I get a quote over the phone?

Due to compliance reasons, we aren’t able to provide quotes over the phone. Instead, all of our quotes are done conveniently online via our website.

Am I eligible for a Farmstyle Insurance policy?

Farmstyle Insurance offers insurance for small, hobby or lifestyle farms. To be eligible to insure with us, your property must meet the following criteria. If your farm meets the above criteria, your quote will be evaluated against our underwriting criteria to determine if we can offer you terms for insurance.
