A minimum excess across most policy sections is $500 each for every claim. There are a few sections that have a smaller excesses, such as Portable Effects.
To help save premium, you can elect for a higher excess. Voluntary excesses can be elected to a maximum of $2,500 per policy each for every claim.
All excesses for each policy will be noted on your Policy Schedule and will apply at claim time.
