Having founded Farmstyle Australia, Australia’s fastest growing online community of small farmers, Charlie teamed up with Ben and Alex, who have over 35 years of combined agricultural insurance experience, and together created Farmstyle Insurance.

Knowing that small farmers needed a very specific and customised insurance product and drawing on the feedback from thousands of Australian hobby and small farmers, Farmstyle Insurance launched its first insurance offering.

Farmstyle Insurance offers a customised insurance product providing tailored coverage for small farmers (without the complications of a large farm insurance policy) on an easy-to-transact online platform backed by the firepower of global insurance brand, QBE Insurance.

There are some items through the policy which attract lower excesses, such as portable effects but these smaller excesses will be noted on our quote platform and policy documentation.

Farmstyle Insurance would always recommend adopting best practice for managing farm safety and asset maintenance. Conducting a farm audit on an annual basis would be prudent along with creating a farm asset schedule and photos. Undertaking the audit is not a requirement to take out a policy with Farmstyle Insurance. We may however ask you for photos of your assets subject to construction type and age.

Photos and audit records may also be useful in the event of a claim. They can help our assessors quickly understand what happened and what’s possible for a quick resolution.

Farmstyle Insurance is not able to provide personal advice, valuation or risk management advice.  We recommend you seek independent advice should you require assistance with these matters.

Home Buildings & Home Contents is available for multiple dwellings on the same property however please note restrictions of liability cover for any farm stay activities. Please refer to the Product Disclosure Statement for full terms and conditions of cover.
